Germany implemented some of the most liberal prostitution laws in Europe. Aimed at improving the legal and social status of women, the laws have had the opposite effect.

Sex work is completely illegal in Serbia, but of course there is a dark and dangerous industry. A new law makes the position of sex workers even worst, and some women want to change that.
